The Sussex Valley Quad Trail is known for its unique panoramic views and for the highest number of attraction sites per kilometre in the province. Valley, mountains, narrow trails, wide trails, dusty roads, rocky trails, unique bridges, farm lands, observation tower, falls, just to name a few. This quad trail offers seven one day experience tours with seven different destinations to discover. Each one has its uniqueness.  

Day trips in the Sussex area can begin at 4 establishments that offer direct trail access:

1. Timberland Motel/ Animaland Campground, Penobsquis. Trail 3409 starts in the campground.
2. Pine Cone Motel, Penobsquis. Across Route 114 from the Timberland.
3. Amsterdam Inn, Sussex. Trail 3409 is accessed directly from their entrance.
4. Adair's Wilderness Lodge, Shepody. Trails 18, 3402 and 3403 all begin at Adair's.

For day trips without needed accommodations, free parking can be accessed at the Sussex Walmart and Superstore, The Timberland in Penobsquis and Adair's Wilderness Lodge in Shepody. There are also possibilities for overnight tours.

The day tours will vary in length according to the starting point, those beginning in Sussex and the Timberland will be longer than the ones starting at Adair's.
