The Kent Hill Wind Farm Quad Trail consists of 50 three megawatt turbines, each on 80 metre towers with a 45-metre blade length and five three-and one-half megawatt turbines, each on 117 metre towers with a 63-metre blade length. The project was completed in 2018. This day trip is mainly on non-managed trails.

Along the way you will encounter scenic spots such as the Thompson Road lookout with views of the valleys of Penobsquis. Another location worth stopping at is Mechanic Lake. There is a small picnic spot located on the shore of the lake. Also, along the way you will pass the Elgin Country Kitchen & General Store with delicious food and general merchandise.
