The trails in the northern end of Region 7 wind through the historic Appalachian Hardwood Forest. There are several private family cemeteries tucked away on their ancestral homesteads which are carefully maintained by the Skedaddle Ridge ATV club.
Stop and enjoy a rest at the stunning mountaintop vista in Kenneth, cross a covered bridge in Howard Brook, or have lunch by a waterfall on the Little Pokiok River. Many of our trails pass through multiple active maple syrup producing facilities.
Balancing Rock and Chimney Rock are natural geological formations that remain as evidence of the ancient glacial movements in the region. You can enjoy a meal at the Village Pour House in Juniper, then fill up your gas tank at Britt's and take a ride around Nashwaak Lake and beyond to connect with the Nashwaak ATV Club at the other end of Trail 17.
