Adventure North Trail - Route 107

This is an 81km loop north of Route 107. Expect to take 8 to 10 hours to complete. Note that you may encounter obstacles like washouts, downed trees and beaver dams - be prepared to take alternate routes. Please check quadnb.ca for current known trail conditions.

  1. Lee Graves. Part way up Beaufort hill watch for the Lee Graves, a pioneer cemetery that Skedaddle Ridge Trails People (SRTP) maintain.
  2. Gormley Rest Area/Kenneth Lookout. Travel in and out of trail #5139 to visit the crown jewel of the SRTP trial system - the Kenneth Lookout. Stop-ping at the Gormley rest area, named after founding member # Gormley, enjoy a panoramic view of hundreds of kilometers around. On a clear day you can see the peak of Mt. Katahdin in the State of Maine.
  3. Chapmanville Cemetery. Keep an eye out off the main trail for the Chapmanville Cemetery. Just a few hundred meters in visit a pioneer cemetery maintained by SRTP.
  4. East Monquart Stream. Take a moment to stop and enjoy the lush greenery and babbling sounds of the East Monquart Stream.
  5. Everett Rest Area. A nice tranquil rest area located on the 2nd Elliott brook.
