The Tantramar ATV Club held its 2024 Winter Border Blast yearly rally on February 24th. QuadNB was happy to attend the rally with region directors from the four corners of the province attending. The snow didn’t stop the participants who had a blast. Thanks to the Tantramar ATV Club for hosting us. This was a perfect occasion for QuadNB’s representatives to explore the trails of the lower south-eastern part of the province, the door of entry from Nova Scotia.
We can see in the picture some of the participants. In the first row, from left to right: Roland Thériault (Region 3), Gaetan Sirois (Region 1), Daniel Landry (guide), Jason Towers (Tantramar ATV Club President), Trevor Richard (Tantramar ATV Club Vice-President) and Joey Zelward (Region 8). Second row, from left to right: Étienne Cormier (Region 3), Robert Randall (Region 7), Everard Richard (Region 5), Jacques Poirier (QuadNB General Manager), Vance Johnson (QuadNB Trail Coordinator), Jim McGregor (QuadNB Chief Instructor) and Ray Croft (QuadNB Vice-President).

This is just a reminder that MANY ATV clubs will be hosting events this weekend in honor of Family Day and this is also a weekend where non-members get to ride on managed ATV trails without a trail permit. That being said, please check with your local ATV Club if the managed trails are open. (Some clubs do not have any managed trails in the winter.)
Also, I have checked the Facebook pages of all the clubs in the province to see which ones were organizing activities this weekend. There are at least NINE (9) clubs throughout the province that are hosting activities on February 17 or February 18.
Here is the list of clubs hosting various activities in no particular order for February 17:
For February 18:
The Memramcook ATV Club: There will be live music at Lac Shelter with Ben and Marty from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, Open mic at 6:00pm, etc.
Please check your local ATV club or on their Facebook page to get more details of for these fun activities.
There are a few other clubs organizing activities on February 23 and 24. (Check with your local ATV Club)
Have a great long weekend and ride safe!
Thanks.
One of our own has passed away on January 24, 2024. Mr. Dan Brown was the President of Club #46, the York County West ATV Club.
We would like to express our most heartfelt condolences to his wife, Tanya, his children, and the rest of his family.
Danny and Tanya were big enthusiasts of the sport of ATVing, and they were both very active within their club. Danny was President, and Tanya is Treasurer. We would like to thank them for their dedication and the many hours of volunteer work they have accomplished over the years. Danny was well-loved and respected by everyone. It is a sad day for QuadNB and for the quad community.

More than 80 dignitaries, guests, and representatives of different government authorities and organizations related to the Quad industry in NB participated, on December 9, in a banquet that marked the 25th anniversary of the founding of the NB All Terrain Vehicle Federation, also called QuadNB since 2020.
This banquet held at the Crowne Plaza in Moncton was intended to launch the celebrations that will last throughout the upcoming year.
During the said event, the Canadian Quad Council President, Peter Mellish, who is also the Prince Edward Island ATV Federation General Director, in the presence of the Canadian Quad Council General Director, Wayne Daub, presented a plaque of recognition to the QuadNB President, Eymard Savoie, to mark this anniversary.
All 57 QuadNB member clubs have been invited to host special events that will highlight this silver anniversary year.

The non-members of our Federation will be allowed to use the managed trails on the New Brunswick Family Day long weekend, February 17-19, 2024 and again on the first full weekend in June, 1-2 June, 2024 that is also “Fish Free Weekend”. The Family Day weekend dates showcase the fun of the sport during the long winter months on the trails of one of the 41 clubs in the province that groom or plow the snow for quads. The June dates combine the recreational sport of fishing with the experience of quadding.
Rider eligibility:
From our president, Eymard Savoie: “QuadNB is pleased to announce that this year's annual 2 Ride-Free experiences will also be showcasing the Federation's 25th Anniversary. We are very pleased to show off our product from our volunteer clubs and encourage you to take up the offer to exciting new experiences. Quad enthusiasts commonly ask themselves if it’s worth it to become a member as 46% of the New Brunswick quad owners are not a member of one of our 57 clubs. Quadding needs to be discovered by many and our trails offer a large variety of new experiences and every club has something different to offer.”
Almost all of QuadNB clubs have a Facebook page, so quad enthusiasts are invited to check their closest club’s Facebook page for more details. Visit QuadNB’s website under Contact Us + Find a club to identify the closest club.

Dear QuadNB members:
This message is to let you know of two (2) things:
Summary of the free policy that all QuadNB permit holders are entitled to:
American Income Life Insurance offers a free $4,000 accidental death and dismemberment life insurance policy to all QuadNB members. You become a QuadNB member when you purchase a trail permit in your name. The purchase of the trail permit is renewable every year, which is why you receive this letter in the mail every year. If you have already named a beneficiary and no longer wish to receive these letters because you buy your permit every year and your beneficiary will not change, you can ask QuadNB to place you on a no-contact list, and then we will refer you to our American Income Life representative to finalize the request.
The insurance company sends us a letter to approve. We send the letter to the printing company we work with and have them place the letter in the envelopes with our logo on it, which they already have in their possession. Then the letters are mailed out by the printer. An agent only has access to your contact information if you mail out the beneficiary card or if you fill out the online form.
